Eskom announces load-shedding forecast for next few days
Varied stages of rolling power cuts will be implemented from Friday morning.

Stage 4 load-shedding was implemented at 16:00 and will continue until 05:00 on Friday, according to Eskom’s latest announcement about planned power cuts.
Thereafter, various stages of load-shedding will be implemented until Tuesday morning.
The power utility says 16 644MW of generating capacity is currently unavailable due to breakdowns, while a further 6 400MW is unavailable due to planned maintenance. Eskom says the capacity unavailable for planned maintenance has been lowered ahead of the winter period.
