Man stabbed to death in Pietermaritzburg: Manhunt launched

Police are investigating the death of a man who was found stabbed in the neck.

Police have launched a manhunt for a person involved in the murder of a man in Edendale, Pietermaritzburg, on Sunday.

It is alleged the victim, who is yet to be identified, argued with a person inside one of the taverns in Edendale at 15:00. During the argument, they went outside, where the suspect allegedly stabbed the victim.

The suspect is said to have fled the scene immediately after the incident. The victim was found lying on his back with one stab wound in the neck.
