Teen injured, 3 killed in Western Cape: Police launch probe

Detectives are investigating a gang-related shooting in Delft that left three men dead and a 14-year-old boy injured.

Detectives attached to the Western Cape Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes Unit are probing the circumstances that led to the death of three men (aged 27, 30 and 34) and the attempted murder of a 14-year-old male.

The incident occurred yesterday at around 17:00 in Seine Street in Delft, Western Cape, and is believed to be a gang-related incident.

Unknown assailants opened fire at the group that was sitting in the yard of a house, and fled the scene empty handed.

Anti-Gang Unit members were deployed in the area to search for the suspects and prevent any further violence that could endanger the lives of the community.
