Watch: Midrand butchery robbery caught on camera

An unknown suspect was travelling in a white van and was seen loading stock and computers at the back.

Blue Valley Butchery in Midrand is looking for tip-offs after a break-in at their store on Friday.

The owner, Benson Mutsumi, said computers and equipment were stolen. Computers were loaded into a white van.

“Center management also assured us that security will be tightened going forward,” said Mutsumi.

He said law enforcement agencies have informed them that serious inroads about the investigation have been made and that arrest is imminent.

“We also appeal for tip-offs should you hear about the whereabouts of these criminals. Once again, we are looking forward to your support,” Mutsumi concluded.

Contact 078 207 2596, 073 998 8565 or 083 372 3686 if you have information about the break-in.
