The Hawks have arrested a 21-year-old man for allegedly leaking and selling 2024 matric results without authorisation.

According to an article published by The Witness, following a thorough investigation, the suspect was tracked down to a house in Hillcrest, north of Johannesburg.

The suspect was also found in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.

According to allegations, the man leaked the 2024 matric results online and sold them to pupils for R100.

The Hawks’ investigation is ongoing and more information will be published when it becomes available.
