14 gunshot wounds – man killed in Margate CBD
A man with multiple gunshot wounds was declared dead by emergency services upon their arrival at the scene in a ZSN coastal town.
A man in his early 40s was shot 14 times in an apparent drive-by shooting in the Margate CBD on Friday night (August 7).
The KwaZulu Private Ambulance Service medical team responded to the shooting at about 20:00.
On arrival, advanced paramedics found the man had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The South Coast Herald reports that he was declared deceased at the scene.
The police were on the scene and is currently investigating the incident.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting are not yet known.
