Young Potch couple attacked and beaten by 6 house robbers
A family member took to Facebook in an effort to create awareness.
The couple, from Ingonya Street in Bailie Park was beaten and attacked in their home during the early hours of the morning (20 October).
According to Mooirivier Beskerming, six armed men gained entry to the house through an open window in the couple’s lounge.
Ward Councillor Jeanne Adriaanse says Albert and Nanna, who is celebrating her 25th birthday today, were sleeping when the men gained entry to their home.
In the following Facebook post by Nanna’s brother, Pierre Viviers claims that the assailants beat the couple with “massive wrenches”:

Albert and Nanna sustained severe head and face injuries during the ordeal, and both are currently being treated at a local hospital.
