Man shot and killed in Bedfordview
A case of murder has been opened after the shooting of a 39-year-old man found dead in Bedfordview, east of Johannesburg.
Bedfordview police spokesperson Sergeant Mduduzi Nhlabathi said the man was found with a gun in his hand yesterday at about 8pm, Bedfordview Edenvale News reported.
Nhlabathi added the man, a Jordanian national, owned a tobacco company in Menlyn, Pretoria.

No arrests have been made. Investigations are ongoing.
On Tuesday, a businessman in the Driefontein area of Ladysmith, in KwaZulu-Natal was shot and killed in an alleged attempted hijacking.
Abu Baker Omarjee had been travelling with his son to Ladysmith at about 4pm when they stopped along the road in the Hobsland area to drop off a staff member who lived nearby.
Two men stormed towards the bakkie, opening fire on the front and side of the vehicle, hitting Omarjees. He died later at La Verna Hospital.
