Lexus has unveiled the next generation of its flagship SUV, the LX. It is now available with a hybrid powertrain.

The Lexus LX 700h embodies the perfect blend of high-performance engineering and sustainable innovation, offering a powerful and luxurious driving experience with a reduced environmental footprint.

Unmatched power and performance

The LX 700h is available in three grades: Overtrail, F SPORT and VIP. The 3.5-litre V6 hybrid engine delivers an impressive 341kW, making it the most powerful LX model to date. A diesel option is also available, offering 225kW. All models feature a smooth and responsive 10-speed automatic transmission.

LX 700h Overtrail: Conquer any terrain

Designed for adventure, the LX 700h Overtrail boasts enhanced off-road capabilities. Equipped with advanced 4×4 technology, a specialised petrol hybrid engine and rugged 18-inch wheels, the Overtrail is ready for any journey. With seven seats and a distinctive Desert Moonlight exterior colour, it combines luxury and capability for the adventurous spirit.

LX 700h F SPORT: Elevated driving experience

The LX 700h F SPORT exudes sporty elegance with its unique trim, exclusive black mesh grille and 22-inch aluminium wheels. The interior features dimpled leather F SPORT seats and refined details, creating a sophisticated and performance-oriented driving environment.

LX 700h VIP: Redefined luxury

The LX 700h VIP offers the ultimate in luxury and comfort. NASA-inspired reclining captain’s chairs with ottomans provide unparalleled relaxation, while contoured headrests and massaging seats elevate the passenger experience to first-class status.

Pricing and warranty

Pricing for the Lexus LX starts at R2 557 500 and includes a seven-year/100 000km warranty and full maintenance plan. The 700h models also come with an eight-year/195 000km hybrid battery warranty.
