Land Rover Classic unveils bespoke Range Rover duo
A restored 1993 Range Rover Classic has been commissioned to mirror the design and character of the first SV Ultra built for the US market.
Land Rover Classic has unveiled a pair of Titan Silver Range Rovers in the form of the new SV Ultra and Bespoke Classic. The duo of models will be showcased as an exclusive pair at RM Sotheby’s Auction Preview at the Monterey Conference Centre from 12-14 August.
The display specifically includes the first SV Ultra built for the US market, alongside the aforementioned Bespoke Range Rover Classic that has been commissioned by the Classic Works team to match its design and character.
Showcasing the breadth of customisation possible by the Land Rover Classic Works Bespoke Service, the Range Rover Classic has been finished in the SV Ultra’s exclusive Titan Sliver exterior paint. This hue features genuine aluminium flakes to create a highly reflective and iridescent ‘liquid metal’ look.
Also featured is the new ‘SV Ultra’ bonnet script and the removal of the exterior side trim to accentuate the reflective finish. Both will receive a special plaque to commemorate the exclusive commission.
Inside, the Range Rover Classic makes use of the British marque’s Ultrafabrics – finished in the same dual-tone Orchid White and Cinder Grey colourway of the SV Ultra – for the first time. The seats have the same laser-crafted pattern and mosaic perforation. Brushed aluminium door handles, as well as colour-matched speaker grille covers and finishers, are also present.
The Range Rover Classic remains mechanically identical to the original, with a comprehensive restoration by the Classic Works team to enhance reliability and preserve authenticity.
This 1993 US market County Edition is powered by a naturally aspirated 3.9-litre V8 engine mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.
