Mafikizolo rocks the stage at Carnival

Carnival City Big Top Arena hosted four South African music talents who performed their hearts out at the One Night in Africa concert on Saturday, October 26.

Theo Kgosinkwe returned again this year to entertain music lovers, but this time he rocked the stage with Nhlanhla Nciza as part of the popular group, Mafikizolo.

Singing some of their recent hits like Khona, featuring African dance music band Uhuru, and Happiness, the group’s new and exciting sound lit up the stage during the much-anticipated performance.

Their high energy performance also featured some of their old hits, which had the crowd their feet, singing and dancing along to the tunes.

The groups performance was the best act of the night, as those who followed were not able to maintain the high energy Mafikizolo created, but did not disappoint to keep the crowd entertained.

The event featured performances by multi-award-winning singer Zonke Dikane and gospel and soul singer Lesego, who recently produced a new album.

Double-platinum music artist and one of South Africa’s favourite afro-soul singers, Zonke also set the stage alight.
