Jazz revellers go wild for Mafikizolo

The event organisers have announced that Mi Casa will be headlining the next jazz evening to be held in December.

The triple South African Music Award-winning group, Mafikizolo, sent Afro-pop and jazz fans wild when they delivered an excellent performance at the Birchwood Comes Alive Jazz Evening on November 9.

The duo had hundreds of music lovers on their feet, dancing and singing along to every song they performed.

The music stars’ jaw-dropping talents saw the excited crowd protesting loudly, begging for more when the duo left the stage.

Mafikizolo’s Theo Kgosinkwe had music lovers eating out of his hand at the jazz festival.

Television personality-cum-comedian Mongezi Mahlangu, popularly known as Tol A$$ MO, had his audience in stitches with hilarious jokes.

The funnyman delivered his well-known style of comedy to the evening’s star-studded line-up.

Consisting of vocalists, saxophonists, a bass guitarist, a lead guitarist, a keyboard player and a drummer, The Levites also captivated the crowd during their exciting performance. Soul and jazz songstress Neo Dube warmed up the evening for the main acts.

As usual, lucky attendees went home with fantastic prizes.
