Pieter-Dirk Uys to lift lockdown spirits with a live streamed show

This is a show for all who believe there is a bright light of hope at the end of this dark, curved Covid-19 tunnel

South African theatre legend and artist Pieter-Dirk Uys will present a live-streamed performance from Penny Lane Studios in Cape Town entitled Pieter-Dirk Uys Says Hello Darling on July 17 at 6pm.

Ahead of Madiba Day, the upbeat 67-minute show will see him with some of his well-known characters who are now all staying two metres apart while (sometimes) keeping their masks on, especially the politicians.

This is a show for all who believe there is a bright light of hope at the end of this dark, curved Covid-19 tunnel.

As always, Uys will tiptoe through the minefield of political correctness, using humour as a weapon of mass distraction.

You will all enjoy washing your hands thoroughly when it’s over!

Tickets cost R70 through Quicket (https://qkt.io/pieter-dirk-uys-says-hello-darling).
