Winter Pimm’s Punch: A warm twist on a classic

This delightful twist on a beloved summer classic combines the lively flavour of Pimm's with the richness of brandy and ginger beer.

As the colder months approach, it’s time to cosy up with a seasonal spin on the beloved Pimm’s punch. This cocktail combines the refreshing taste of Pimm’s, brandy and ginger beer with warming spices and citrus flavours, making it the perfect cocktail to enjoy during the chilly season.

Ingredients

  • 200ml Pimm’s
  • 200ml brandy
  • 500ml red apple juice
  • 250ml ginger beer
  • Juice of 1 orange
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 3-4 cloves
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh cranberries, for garnish (optional)
  • Ice cubes

Method

  1. In a large jug or pitcher, combine the Pimm’s, brandy, apple juice, ginger beer, orange juice, and lemon juice.
  2. Add the cinnamon stick and cloves to the mixture, stirring gently to combine.
  3. Add the sliced orange and lemon to the punch, along with a handful of fresh cranberries.
  4. Place ice cubes in serving glasses and pour the Winter Pimm’s Punch over the ice.
  5. Garnish each glass with an additional slice of orange or lemon and a few more cranberries.
