Wind down after a long summer’s day with a Yellow Parrot

The Yellow Parrot is a classic cocktail that combines the bold flavours of absinthe, yellow Chartreuse, and apricot liqueur.

   

Ingredients

Serving: 1

  • 25 ml absinthe
  • 25 ml yellow Chartreuse
  • 25 ml apricot liqueur

Method

  1. Fill a mixing glass with ice.
  2. Add the absinthe, yellow Chartreuse, and apricot liqueur.
  3. Stir until well chilled, around 30 seconds.
  4. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  5. Garnish with a twist of lemon.
Tip: To add a fresh touch, infuse the absinthe or apricot liqueur with a herb like basil or thyme for a few hours.
