12 more deaths, 637 new confirmed Covid-19 cases in South Africa
453 of the new cases were recorded in the Western Cape.

As of May 11, the number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in South Africa is 10 652, according to the Department of Health.
Twelve new deaths have been recorded, bringing the total to 206. There were 8 deaths in the Western Cape, 2 in the Eastern Cape, 1 in KwaZulu-Natal and 1 in the North West (the first death in the province).
The department reports 4357 recoveries.
Some 356 067 Covid-19 tests have been conducted, of which 14 731 are new tests.
The provincial breakdown of cases is:
