2 people seen moving dead body in a wheelbarrow

A man and woman have been arrested after a man's body was discovered near a bridge in Pietermaritzburg.

The discovery of the body of a 26-year-old man dumped near a bridge in Ashdown, Pietermaritzburg, has enraged the community after two people were reportedly seen moving the dead body in a wheelbarrow.

Mboniseni Gcabashe’s body (26) was discovered in the early hours of Sunday, lying at Peace Valley 2 bridge, with stab wounds.

It is believed that Gcabashe was killed somewhere else but his body was dumped at Peace Valley 2 bridge.

A man and a woman have since been arrested.
