Accident leaves multiple injured in KZN

People with injuries ranging from serious to minor were treated on the scene before being transported to hospital following a taxi and bus accident.

Fourteen people were injured this morning when a taxi rear-ended a bus in the Mphomomeni area, near Howick in KZN.

According to Midlands EMS paramedics, who responded to the call, their control room received multiple calls about the accident.

“We received multiple calls regarding an accident on Kwa-Haza Main Road at 07:40 this morning. Multiple advanced life support units with multiple Midlands EMS ambulances were dispatched to the scene.”
