Bail denied to man charged for stabbing spree in Margate
A man was recently arrested in the KZN town after he had allegedly stabbed several people. One of the people had died due to the stabbing.

Bail was denied to a man (25) who has been arrested for stabbing several people in Valley Road in Margate on Wednesday, May 31 at around midnight.
He has been charged with murder, attempted murder and two counts of assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
He appeared in the Port Shepstone Magistrate’s Court earlier today. The next court date is awaited.
On the evening of the incident, Maser Security responded to a complaint of a fight in the parking lot. On arrival they noticed various victims had been stabbed, and one had died.
Maser Security gathered information on scene and started searching.
A few minutes later at a nearby beach, the man was spotted and arrested.
The murder weapon was also recovered, Margate detectives were contacted and attended to the scene with LCRC.
