Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve temporarily closed

This includes Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels and more.

The Mpumalanga Tourism and Parks Agency (MTPA) has advised that all view sites and attractions in Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve will be closed from this morning (July 28) until further notice.

This includes Bourke’s Luck Potholes, the Three Rondavels, God’s Window, the Pinnacle and Swadini.

The MTPA apologises for the inconvenience while it prepares the sites to be fully compliant with Covid-19 protocols.

MTPA spokesperson, Kholofelo Nkambule said, “There is a delay in the delivery of additional PPE as well as cleaning material. Therefore, for the safety of our staff and visitors the sites will be closed temporarily.”
