Body of missing 3-year-old boy found in stream near Roodepoort

Police have launched an investigation after the body of a three-year-old was found in a stream earlier today.

The body of three-year-old Mojalefa Savhuli, who went missing on Sunday, April 27, has been found.

The information was confirmed to the Roodepoort Record by provincial police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo.

According to Masondo, Mojalefa’s body was discovered in a nearby stream in Tshepisong Phase 1.

Mojalefa, who was living with autism, was last seen at the local playing field wearing green shorts, a yellow jersey, and black shoes.

Police and community members had been actively searching for him and had appealed to the public for information to assist in locating him.

The circumstances surrounding his death are still under investigation.
