Ceiling collapses at Pretoria nightclub
Saturday evening's heavy rain is suspected to be the cause.
Several people sustained minor injuries when a part of a ceiling collapsed at a Pretoria nightclub on Saturday evening.
Propaganda nightclub manager Wayne Love told Pretoria Rekord that no fatalities or serious injuries were reported.
“The ceiling collapsed just around 21:30 and we immediately had to evacuate everyone out of the club,” he said.
“Unfortunately, five to seven people sustained minor injuries and had to be treated by medics.”

Love said the heavy rainfall on Saturday was believed to be the cause of the collapse.
“Unfortunately at this stage, we don’t have the full details on what actually happened but a statement will be issued during the course of the week.”
He said a team was currently on site cleaning up where the ceiling had collapsed.
