As of yesterday, 27 June, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in South Africa is at 131 800 with 7 210 new cases identified.

KwaZulu-Natal:
- 7 786 confirmed cases
- 5,9% of the country total
- 109 deaths
- 3 417 recoveries
Limpopo:
- 862 confirmed cases
- 0,7% of the country total
- 5 deaths
- 387 recoveries
Mpumalanga:
- 925 confirmed cases
- 0,7% of the country total
- 2 deaths
- 239 recoveries
North West:
- 3 454 confirmed cases
- 2,6% of the country total
- 5 death
- 433 recoveries
Northern Cape:
- 355 confirmed cases
- 0.3% of the country total
- 1 death
- 186 recoveries
Western Cape:
- 59 315 confirmed cases
- 45% of the country total
- 1 732 deaths
- 42 172 recoveries
Unallocated cases:
- 0 confirmed cases
- 0.0% of the country total
A total number of 1 529 009 Covid-19 tests have been processed of which 35 905 tests have been conducted since the last report.
The Department of Health reports 73 more Covid-19 related deaths:
- 13 in Eastern Cape
- 40 in Western Cape
- 3 in KwaZulu-Natal
- 17 in Gauteng
This brings the total number of Covid-19 related deaths in South Africa to 2 413.
The current mortality rate is at 1.8%.
