South Africa’s Covid-19 cases have reached 625 056 positive cases, with a recovery rate of 86 per cent.
A total of 3 674 872 test have been conducted, 57 per cent of which have been conducted privately, and 43 per cent in public facilities.
Sadly, another 47 people have been reported to have died from Covid-19, bringing the nationwide total to 14 028.
The province with the highest number of infections remains Gauteng with 209 648, followed by KwaZulu-Natal with 112 726 and the Western Cape with 105 908 cases.
