Drive-by shooting leaves three dead in Port Shepstone

The motive behind the killing is still unknown after an unknown vehicle opened fire at a BMW this morning.

Three people were shot dead in a drive-by shooting in Oslo Beach, a suburb of Port Shepstone, earlier this morning.

The motive for the shooting is unclear at this stage.

Glen Preston of Med-Evac said paramedics attended the scene, and declared three people dead, the driver and two passengers.

Police were on the scene this morning and the road was closed.

From what bystanders and eye-witnesses have reported, occupants of an unknown vehicle opened fire with rifles on a BMW X3 . The vehicle, that was shot at, then veered off into the bush.

Many cartridge casings have been found scattered on the scene.
