A factory owner was killed, and two others critically injured after robbers tied them up and tortured them for information about money. The robbery took place in Albert Wessels Drive, Newcastle last night.

According to an official source, three suspects entered the factory store and tied up three victims, before allegedly torturing them for money. All three victims were said to have been stabbed several times.

One of the victims managed to press the panic button, alarming security forces who responded within minutes. Upon arrival, response team members gave chase after the suspects.

One suspect was shot and the other two were apprehended,” says the source.

Two of the victims were found in critical condition and were transported to hospital for further medical treatment.

The owner of the factory had unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.”

Authorities were on scene last night to conduct preliminary investigations.
