Father and friends rape daughter (13)

SHARPEVILLE – Three rape suspects, one of whom is the biological father of the 13-year-old victim, were denied bail in the Vereeniging Magistrates Court recently.
This is after a 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two suspects. It is said that the first rape took place when the victim was only 9-years-old.
Police Spokesperson, Captain Tebogo Lephoto said that the incident happened after the mother of the victim passed away and the young girl was left in the care of her father.
Police said the father arrived at the police station to open a case of rape.
He pointed out to his two friends as suspects, however, police investigations revealed that the father was also implicated in the child’s rape.
The suspects aged 31, 38 and 48 were all arrested and briefly appeared at the Vereeniging Magistrates Court.
“Another charge of sexual exploitation will be added,” said Lephoto.
The trio were remanded in custody. They will appear again on 24 April. The victim is now living with her aunt at a place of safety.
