Four to appear in court after mutilated body found in Ekurhuleni
Fezile Limako left home to meet friends at a local tavern to play snooker; two days later, he was found murdered.
Four men linked to the murder of Fezile Limako (30), whose mutilated body was found in Springs, Ekurhuleni, will appear at the Springs Magistrate’s Court on Friday.
His mutilated body was found near a soccer field on Welgedacht Road.
According to Sergeant Themba Tshabalala, Springs SAPS spokesperson, an extensive investigation conducted by Captain Mervyn Kasaven of the Crime Prevention Unit resulted in the accused being found on April 13 at a hiding location in Springs.
“They appeared at the Springs Magistrate’s Court on Monday,” said Tshabalala.
The deceased’s aunt, Lettie Limako, previously disclosed to the Springs Advertiser that on April 2, Fezile left his home to meet his friends at a local bar to play pool.

“He sleeps in the outside room, so I assumed he would come back that evening, but he didn’t,” said Limako.
She added that his friend told them they last saw him on the same night he left after being involved in a fistfight with a group of intoxicated men.
Limako believed that her nephew had been murdered elsewhere and that his body had been dumped at the soccer field.
“Although he was badly injured, he was not covered in blood.”
