Here’s your load-shedding outlook until Friday
Eskom tweaks its planned stages of rolling blackouts as the weekend approaches.
Stage 6 load-shedding will be implemented at 16:00 and continue until 05:00 tomorrow when it will be lowered to stage 4.
That is according to Eskom’s latest update on planned power cuts.
The power utility states that until Friday, varied stages will be implemented as they battle to meet demand. Breakdowns currently amount to 18 972MW of unavailable generating capacity, while 3 222MW is offline due to planned maintenance.
