KZN artist Delana Rawlins’ murder case remanded

A man charged with shooting his estranged wife multiple times is expected to again appear in court in mid-February.

The estranged husband of well-known KZN artist Delana Rawlins, who was gunned down on the eve of Mother’s Day last year, made a brief appearance in the Pietermaritzburg High Court yesterday.

Ian Rawlins is charged with shooting Delana multiple times in Ashburton in May last year, following an argument between the two after leaving a family function.

It was reported she was shot 10 times after being pulled out of the passenger seat of the vehicle.
