A man linked to a double murder in Durban shot at officers while trying to escape.
A suspect linked to the murders of a Durban mother and daughter in December last year was shot dead by the police in Mount Edgecombe in the early hours of this morning.
Magma Investigations and Security boss Shaheen Suleiman says the man shot at officers while trying to make a getaway, before crashing his car in the vicinity of Mount Edgecombe.
Suleiman adds the operation was conducted by the DPCI provincial tracking team, Anti-Gang Unit, PMB K9, TRT, Metro Police ORS, Magma Security and Investigations, Fidelity SIU and Hawks Protection Services.
