KZN twins fall to their death from a third-floor balcony

The brothers were allegedly posing for a photo when a railing gave way.

Twin brothers who were reportedly celebrating their birthday last night, died after they fell from a third-floor balcony at the Paros complex in Shaka’s Rock, KZN.

According to reports, they and a woman were leaning against a wooden railing to pose for a photo when it gave way and they fell about 15m.

IPSS Medical Rescue responded to the scene and attempted to treat the three critically injured patients, but the brothers tragically died at the scene.

It is said that several paramedics, even some who were off duty, rushed to the scene to help. Neighbours also rushed to assist.

The woman was taken to Victoria Mediclinic in critical condition. The brothers’ age could not be confirmed at the time of publishing.

IPPS said in a statement on Facebook last night that the incident will be investigated by SAPS.
