Load-shedding ramped up to Stage 4

Eskom said the demand for power is currently higher than expected.

Eskom announced on Saturday morning that load-shedding will be increased to Stage 4 from 13:00 until 22:00.

On Sunday, Stage 4 load-shedding will again be implemented between 08:00 and 22:00.

The power utility said in a tweet that the demand for power is higher than anticipated, and that some units have tripped.
