Updates about blackout stages in the coming week will be given on Sunday.

Eskom says that stage 5 load-shedding will continue until 05:00 on Saturday whereafter it will be reduced to stage 4 and 3 until Sunday.

Stage 4 kicks in from Saturday until Sunday at 05:00 whereafter stage 3 will be implemented until 05:00 on Monday.

The power utility says that capacity constraints will necessitate load-shedding next week, with the current outlook that stage 3 will be implemented.
