Man killed after vehicle overturns on the N4, east of Pretoria
The vehicle overturned and landed in a stormwater channel near Watermeyer Street.
A man was killed when a vehicle he was travelling in overturned near the N4/N1 interchange on Monday morning.
“The vehicle overturned and landed in a stormwater channel near Watermeyer Street in the direction of Pretoria CBD,” said Tshwane emergency spokesperson Charles Mabaso.
“A man lost his life as a result of the incident which occurred in the early hours of the morning.”
Mabaso said EMS handed the scene to the police for further investigation after assisting with the recovery of the body.
“We continue to urge motorists to be cautious when driving in wet road conditions.”
