Man questioned after fatal shooting in Pietermaritzburg

It is alleged that four friends were seated inside a car drinking alcohol when someone arrived and started shooting, without saying anything.

A man has been taken in for questioning in connection with the murder of three people and the attempted murder of another in Pietermaritzburg on Sunday morning.

The murders occurred at approximately 5:40 in the Pietermaritzburg CBD.

Police responded to reports of a shooting on Langalibalele Street and upon arrival, found three bodies with gunshot wounds inside a vehicle.
