A 45-year-old man was gunned down in the parking area of Milpark Hospital in Gauteng yesterday, sparking a murder investigation by Johannesburg police.

Rosebank Killarney Gazette reports that local police Captain Tintswalo Sibeko told the newspaper that the incident occurred after the victim allegedly visited a friend at the hospital.

“The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and the motive is still unknown. No arrest has been made, and investigations are underway.”
