The owner of a supermarket in Phomolong in Phagameng, rural Limpopo, and his brother were held at gunpoint last Monday.

According to the police, a group of armed men entered his shop just after 15:00 and demanded money.

He was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money and a cellphone.

The robbers allegedly tied the two men up with shoelaces and fled the scene. The police were alerted and a search for the perpetrators was launched.

A case of business robbery was opened at the Modimolle Police Station.
