Missing Chilean man confirmed dead

It is believed he was murdered while camping in the Ladysmith area.

Slavko Yaksic Besoaín, the Chilean national who has been missing in South Africa, has been confirmed dead, Northern Natal Courier reports.

His body was found in a morgue in Ladysmith

His father and a member of the consulate positively identified him.

Slavko (29) was backpacking in South Africa from Chile, mingling with the locals and getting to know their culture when he went missing.

Pastor Stefan, from Melusi Mission, confirmed that Slavko stayed with them until September 24, when he left to make his way towards Underberg.
