Montpellier call off Curwin Bosch move

It is reported that Bosch was keen to consider his potions elsewhere after Jordan Hendikse's move from the Sharks to the Lions.

French giants Montpellier have opted against signing Curwin Bosch despite being in advanced talks to sign the Sharks flyhalf.

Montpellier are understood to be in the market for another No 10 and according to L’Equipe, the two-Test Springbok was on their radar.

Bosch signed a three-year extension with the Sharks in 2023, despite previously being linked with several moves overseas, notably to English Premiership club Bath.

According to a report by RugbyPass, Montpellier have decided to call off the transfer and will look elsewhere for a new flyhalf.

Bosch was reportedly keen to start a new adventure, as he considers his options after Jordan Hendrikse’s decision to join the Sharks from the Lions next season, as well as a strong challenge from the promising Siya Masuku.
