NSPCA to aid Ukrainian animal shelters
The NSPCA has called on South Africans to donate toward the cause.

The National Council of SPCAs (NSPCA) will be donating R30 000 to animal welfare shelters in Ukraine following Russia’s invasion.
This donation is in an effort to relieve devastation and assist NSPCA colleagues who are braving the war to provide care for animals living in their shelters.
The NSPCA is working to establish routes for the donations to reach as many Ukrainian animal shelters as possible.
“South Africa stands in solidarity with animal shelters across the world as we are known to be a country that embraces ubuntu.
“We plead with South Africans to help,” said the NSPCA in a statement.
