Randfontein kidnapping: Vehicle found but search for woman continues
A woman – yet to be identified by police – is sought after a business robbery turned kidnapping yesterday.
The police in Randfontein are looking for a woman who was kidnapped after a business robbery in the West Porges area yesterday.
According to station commander Brigadier Jacob Manamela, the robbery occurred next to the ANC Regional Office in West Porges Street.
“The vehicle of the victim was later discovered in Tenacres AH. The police are busy investigating the case and request the assistance of the community,” Manamela says.
The victim’s vehicle was a silver-grey BMW X5.
Posts on social media claim she is Mapule Oganne, however, police could not verify this information.

She was kidnapped in Randfontein yesterday near the @GautengANC office and it’s alleged that the kidnappers are demanding a R3 million ransom.
