Rules of KZN’s planned nudist beach

KwaZulu-Natal Naturist Association has set up a code of conduct for the planned nudist beach in Trafalgar, KwaZulu-Natal.

The beach, which was approved in October, is expected to be officially opened around Easter next year, South Coast Herald reported.

Although the nudist beach has not yet been officially opened, those who wish to use the demarcated area will not be prosecuted during the festive season.

Hibiscus Coast Municipality spokesperson, Simon Soboyisa-April, said that the by-laws had been relaxed since council has approved the beach.

According the code of conduct drawn up by the KZN Naturalist Association, racism and other discriminatory behaviour will not be tolerated.

The association has also embargoed all sexual or erotic material.

“No sexual content of any kind, for example, dancing in a provocative manner, sitting on someone’s genitals, swapping saliva and touching genitals,” the association said.

Staring and the taking of photographs have also been prohibited.

Although children are allowed, the association suggests they need to be under adult supervision at all times.

“Children sometimes like to let off steam and this is not a bad thing at all, but children should be supervised by adults so that they don’t cause problems for others”

To create a peaceful and harmonious environment, fighting as well as obscene language and behaviour are also prohibited, while men were advised to cover up unexpected erections.
