SA schools stars banned for doping
Three players from last year's youth week rugby tournament, as well as a Varsity Cup player, tested positive for banned substances.

Three players have copped three-year bans after testing positive for banned substances during the U18 Craven Week in 2022.
The South African Institute for Drug-Free Sports (Saids) has announced the bans following tests at the interprovincial competition at Rondebosch Boys’ High last year.
Two of the banned players are Lions prop Sifiso Magwaza and Free State hooker Khoitsimodimo Mathibedi, who went to Hoerskool Monument and Grey College, respectively. The third player cannot be named as he is a minor.
Each of them will only be eligible to play again in August 2025.
