Search on for R86m Lotto winner from Cape Town

Saturday’s estimated jackpot of R86 million was won by a player from Cape Town.

Following a series of Lotto jackpot roll-overs, Saturday’s estimated jackpot of R86m was won by a player from Cape Town.

The ticket was purchased at Shoprite Checkers in Durbanville and was played on draw number 2261.

Ithuba is encouraging players to check their tickets and proceed to any National Lottery regional office to process their winnings.

“We congratulate the latest Lotto multi-millionaire who won Saturday’s jackpot of over R86m.

“Although the winning tickets may be valid for 365 days, it is highly recommended that players process their winnings as soon as possible,” said Ithuba CEO Charmaine Mabuza.

The winner will receive their winnings tax free between 48 to 72 hours.

A team of financial advisors are on standby to offer advice on a series of portfolio investment opportunities. The player will also be offered trauma counselling from a team of psychologists, said Ithuba.
