Stage 2 and 3 load-shedding planned for the weekend
Eskom says a power update will be published when changes occur.

While stage 4 load-shedding will be implemented from 16:00 until 05:00 tomorrow, Eskom predicts lower stages for the weekend.
The power utility says two units each at the Arnot, Duvha, Kriel and Medupi power stations (eight units in total), were taken offline for repairs while two units, at Kriel and Tutuka, returned to service. The return of two units, at Kriel and Lethabo, were delayed.
Stage 3 will be implemented from 05:00 tomorrow until 05:00 on Sunday whereafter stage 2 power cuts will come into effect until 16:00. Stage 3 will then resume until 16:00 on Sunday whereafter stage 4 will be implemented.
Currently, breakdowns amount to 15 827MW while 5 009MW generating capacity is out of service for planned maintenance.
