Multiple gunshots were heard in Craighall Park in Gauteng yesterday, halting afternoon traffic and sending the community into a panic.

Near a local primary school, a man was shot multiple times in an apparent drive-by shooting on Norfolk Avenue.

In a message sent out to its clients, local security company CAP stated: “A victim was shot multiple times and, unfortunately, succumbed to [his] injuries.”

They added that the circumstances surrounding the incident are under investigation.
