Both players will be earning at least R7m.

Two current Springboks are reportedly among the 20 highest earners in the English Premiership for the 2022-23 season.

According to a list compiled by Ruck.co.uk, Vincent Koch and Handre Pollard will both be earning at least £400 000 (R7m) per season, putting them among the English league’s highest-paid players.

Two-time Premiership winner Koch, who has left Saracens to join Wasps, is tied at 20th with England and Sale Sharks centre Manu Tuilagi, as both will be earning £400 000 in the coming season.

Bok flyhalf and World Cup winner Pollard has moved to England from French club Montpellier to take up a contract with defending Premiership champions Leicester Tigers. The deal will see Pollard earn £610 000 (R12m) next season, putting him as the fifth-highest earner in the Premiership.

New Zealand lock Steven Luatua (£620 000), Saracens duo Maro Itoje (£800 000) and Owen Farrell (£820 000) and Bristol Bears centre Charles Piutau (£1m) make up the rest of the top five.
