Video: Child targeted in alleged attempted abduction in Amanzimtoti

Quick thinking by parents has saved a child from seemingly being abducted on Amanzimtoti’s Main Beach in broad daylight.

A child was nearly abducted at Amanzimtoti Main Beach outside a food outlet yesterday but was saved after his parents caught the man in the act.

South Coast Sun reports about a video that was shared online, in which a man can be seen picking up the child outside the eatery and attempting to run away with him.

The child’s parents get up from their table and run towards the man who lets the child go. According to the person who posted the video, the man was later arrested.
