Warning issued over fake foot-and-mouth vaccine advert

Farmers and the public are urged to remain vigilant after a fake foot-and-mouth disease vaccine advert surfaced on social media.

The National Department of Agriculture has become aware of a fraudulent advertisement circulating on social media promoting a foot and mouth disease (FMD) vaccine ordering platform, reports Parys Gazette.

 Please note that the department did not issue or endorse this advert.

  • Do not register, place orders, or share your personal or farm information through the platform
  • Do not make any payments in response to this advert
  • Do not share or circulate the advert

Protect yourself and your farm from fraud. Always verify information through the department’s official communication channels before taking any action.
